Osama bin Laden Finally Eats It

Osama bin Laden and I have the same birthday, or should I say.. had the same birthday.  Now he's dead, and it actually feels a bit strange.  Anyway, this song might not be on the new album, but here is the video.

No Strings Attatched

What happened to the "Paper Strings"?
Several people have asked about the band name or the lack of a band name.  I have struggled with a band name for a long time.  I wanted it to be like it is in the movies.  We all get together and smile as the music flows magically in a euphonious concoction.  It just hasn't worked out that way.  The band will continue to change over time.  I am very fortunate to have talented people to work with.  It has become clear that some of those people will change, and I have decided to embrace those changes.  I am going to follow this musical journey to the end.

The State of Things and Things to Come

Recording for the new album is underway.  If all goes well it will be out in the Fall.  There are 11 songs that will be on this project.  The biggest difference between this project and my debut album is that this isn't a solo project.  It is a band.  The band has been in a state of constant flux for the past year.  Some of that is life happening, and some of that is growing pains.
This new album is is more violin heavy than guitar heavy.  I'm not even sure the sound can be described as rock music.  I'm at a loss when it comes to determining the genre.  The closest official definition I can find is baroque pop, but even that doesn't seem to fit, and even if it does, who is familiar with baroque pop?  Either way, I really hope that people enjoy listening to the album once it is finished.  A tremendous amount of work has gone into it.
